We are pleased to announce a new position and a new employee at JM Teague Engineering and Planning!  As we continue to grow and develop our client relationships, no matter how great our current employees are, we sometimes need MORE great employees!  That is the case in our planning department.  Kenny Armstrong will be joining us as a Transportation Planning Technician.  Kenny is currently finishing up his Masters of Public Affairs degree from WCU and will be joining us full time on July 1.  Until then he will be working part time as he juggles the end of school as well as an internship he currently holds with Henderson County.


We are excited about the possibilities that adding this new position (and Kenny) will bring to our clients! 

JM Teague Engineering and Planning has managed over 500 separate projects for our clients in just over six years.  It is amazing how diverse our clientele is and how diverse our projects are – from small towns to large corporations, from simple one-day projects to projects that are multi-year in nature.  We are proud to continue to grow and change and to become the organization that our clients need while still providing engineering and planning expertise.  Thank you for being in motion with us! 

Autonomous Vehicles In Motion

The State of Michigan is changing their laws and paving the way to remain the leading state in transportation development.  Legislation introduced last week will allow autonomous vehicles to be operated on the roadways without a driver present.   You can read more about the legislative changes and the vehicles here.
